Sitting next-to-last for most of the mile, Swan Legacy found his best stride when Jack Killeen unleashed him out of the final turn. The 6-year-old Swan For All-Ladylike Volo gelding looped the field and triumphed in 1:55, half-length better than Emerald’s Legacy, who found a late seam for place. Early leader Romanee Blue Chip completed the ticket.

Todd Keith owns and train’s Swan Legacy, who won for the second straight time and pushed his career numbers to 233 victories and $292,901 in earnings.

Dave Palone piloted four winners on the 13-race card, including a pair for trainer Dean Collins. This giving Palone 15 victories over the past four programs.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Thursday (Nov. 8), first post 12:45 p.m.
