Sweden’s Cyber Lane wins the Copenhagen Cup for a second time

Copenhagen, Denmark – Denmarks biggest international trotting race, The Memhammer Copenhagen Cup at Charlottenlund was won by the 8-year old gelding on Sunday(May 16). He was driven by trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner in the bike.
Cyber Lane was in command from start and won handily by two lengths followed by Italian trotter Zaccaria Bar with Alessandro Gocciadoro and the French trotter, Bahia Quesnot with Junior Guelpa.

This was the third time Cyber Lane raced in Copenhagen Cup (1 – 1-4 mile) and he now has two wins and one second in the race. Cyber Lane was timed in 1.54f (mile rate) and the victory has probably earned him a spot in the upcoming Elitlopp in Stockholm.

It was a great day for trotting at Charlottenlund in Copenhagen. The mile race, Charlottenlund Open was won by French trotter, Digne et Droit with Gabriele Gelormini in the bike in a photo finish with Cokstile with Vincenzo Gallo.
Both were timed in 1.52.3f equaling the track record!

Cokstile, who won the Elitlopp 2020, returned to action after having been absent from racing in nearly eight months.
