At the annual Kolgjini Sale Monday night (July 24), Nagamori Hill, a bay colt sired by Muscle Hill, was sold for 3 million Swedish Krona — or $364,000.

This is a new Swedish record paid for a yearling at a public sale.

Nagamori Hill is the third foal out of Naga Morich — she by Enjoy Lavec and out of Dame Lavec, the dam of top trotters Lavec Kronos and Raja Mirchi.

Nagamori Hill was bred by SRF Stable, and was bought by the Courant Stable.

As usual offspring to Muscle Hill were in high demand. Six yearlings by him were sold for an average price of $140,330.

Hambletonian winner Trixton had four yearlings sold at the sale for an average of $45,500.

However, the average price at the sale fell by 18 percent compared to last year. A total of 52 yearlings were sold at an average price of $38,620.
