Saratoga Springs, NY — New for the 2015 harness racing season, ‘The Foal Project’ traveling gallery show will be featured in Fortunes, Saratoga Casino and Raceway’s trackside restaurant. The nationally renowned gallery show focuses on the intimate moments of connection between a mare and her foal.

Originating in 2010, ‘The Foal Project’ was started by photographer Lisa Miller with the goal to raise awareness and funding for equine assisted therapies. Since inception of The Foal Project, Miller’s work has been recognized on ESPN.com and has been featured across the country in venues including the prestigious Cross Gate Gallery in Lexington, Ky., and the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame in Aiken, S.C.

All of the pieces are numbered, signed and printed on large metal. All of the sale proceeds go directly to the Foal Project Donor Advised Fund, and are used to fill grant requests made by qualified 501(c)3 Equine Assisted Therapy Centers.

“The opportunity for ‘The Foal Project’ to be featured in Fortunes is truly an honor,” said Lisa Miller, Photographer. “It’s very exciting to create more awareness for the project within the Saratoga community, and Fortunes is the ideal venue to accomplish that.”

The gallery is set to be displayed in Fortunes for the duration of the 2015 harness racing season. Guests will be able to purchase these signed, numbered and limited edition prints, with 100 percent of the sale proceeds going to the Foal Project Donor Advised Fund.

“It’s our pleasure to share Lisa’s remarkable work with our Fortunes guests,” said Mike Vild, General Manager at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. “Our hope is that the display will raise awareness and funding for equine assisted therapies in our community.”

Overlooking the harness track, Fortunes restaurant offers guests a breathtaking view of the live harness racing action from the comfort of their table. Fortunes is currently open for dinner Fridays and Saturdays and offers a brunch buffet for the matinee race card on Sundays. Dinner hours vary throughout the season.
