Washington, PA — The Meadows already had announced a $10,000 total-pool guarantee for the Pick-5 on Saturday’s (July 29) Adios Day card. But when The Pick-5 was uncovered Friday for the second consecutive program, resulting in a carryover of $6,450.52, the track doubled Saturday’s Pick 5 guarantee to $20,000.

The Adios Day program features three pool guarantees —all offered in association with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Initiative — that total $42,500. Included are:
• Pick 4, races 4-7, $7,500 guarantee;
• Pick 4, races 9-12 (including the Adios final, race 11), $15,000 guarantee;
• Pick 5, races 12-16, $10,000 guarantee.

Minimum wager for the Pick 4 and Pick 5 is 50-cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.
The blockbuster Adios Day program, which features six Grand Circuit stakes, begins at noon, with the $400,000 final of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids off at approximately 4 p.m.
