The Meadows to broadcast in full HD

Washington, PA — The Meadows Racing announces that its simulcast signal will be sent to all outlets in high definition starting Jan. 5, 2022.

The track previously switched to HD for in-house patrons, and the update will allow racing fans at all locations around the country, including those viewing at home, to see the signal in high definition.

Race Track Network (RTN), part of the Roberts Communication Network, will be the main provider of the signal to all outlets. RTN also offers in-home viewing via Roku or Amazon Fire Stick, via subscription.

Current RTN subscribers, along with those that watch races via advance deposit wagering outlets such as Hollywood Races, Xpressbet or TVG, will notice the upgrade in the quality of the signal, but no other changes.

The upgrade to HD will coincide with the beginning of The Meadows’ 2022 racing season on Wednesday (Jan. 5), post time 12:45 p.m.
