Millstone Township, NJ — The celebrated Elitloppet at the Solvalla Racetrack in Stockholm, Sweden, is one of harness racing’s largest events for those who love the sport of racing. This fabulous trip is a fundraiser for the Standardbred Retirement Foundation with raffle tickets available now by calling the office at 732.446.4422.

Elitloppet is not just one of the greatest trotting events in the world, but it is also comparable to the excitement of the Little Brown Jug in America. It’s held in Stockholm, one of the most beautiful cities in the world at a time when Sweden is enjoying the full bloom of springtime.

The trip includes an airfare voucher of $1,500 and five day/four night stay for two in the very heart of Stockholm. Your visit starts with a get together dinner Thursday night (May 24). Start your mornings with a buffet breakfast and then on to sightseeing. Friday afternoon tour the yearling sale and on Saturday morning tour Menhammer Stud Farm where many famous stallions have stood. You get entrance to the Solvalla Racetrack on Saturday and Sunday for the big race. The dates are May 24 to May 28.

Raffle tickets are $25 each and funds raised will be used to provide hay and grain, medical care, farrier care, rehabilitation and other related needs for the 351 trotters and pacers under SRF’s expense and care. The winning ticket will be drawn on April 27 at 12 noon; the winner does not need to be present.
