Thomas Swann, 75, dies

Columbus, OH — Maryland horseman Thomas R. Swann, 75, died Jan. 22, 2013.

Mr. Swann managed a small stable of horses for more than 35 years. He developed and trained stakes winners Oh Say “Jose”, Irish Eddie, I Just Betcha and Quandary Hanover.

His latest success was I Told Gordy, the 2012 co-horse of the meet at Rosecroft Raceway.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years; and three children.

Visitation will be on Friday (Jan. 25) from 6-8 p.m. at Easton Church of God. The funeral will be Saturday (Jan. 26) at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour before.
