Three horses remain undefeated at Dresden

Dresden, ON — Threedifferent horses remain undefeated at Dresden Raceway after wins in both weeksof racing concluded at the local oval on Sunday (June 4).

Fourteen-year-old Weskey went wire-to-wirefor owner/trainer/driver Tyler Borth of Ingersoll for his second win in a rowat Dresden. The Wesgate Crown gelding is co-owned by Bill Borth. Weskey has nowbanked over C$304,000 with the win in 2:04.

Evil Cam Evil made it two in a row atDresden as well with a wire-to-wire win for driver Lorne House in 2:00 flat.The 3-year-old Camluck gelding is owned by trainer Dennis Belan, Doug Belanand Brian Fitzgerald and has won six out of 10 lifetime starts.

Owner/trainer/driver Donnie RankinJr. of Amherstberg guided GD Cruise For Gold to his second win in a row atDresden after setting the fractions of :30.2, 1:01.2, 1:31 and a last quarter of:29 for a mile of 2:00 flat.

Dresden Raceway opened their doors tothe world as they started streaming live today at www.dresdenraceway.ca with the hopes of linking in with HPI to allow wagering onthe local races.

Garrett Rooney scored three winstoday for a driving triple as he visited the winner’s circle with Slots Of Fun, Ground Shaker and Grits N Gravy.

Today’s handle was C$20,399 which means the average handle per race has been over C$2,100 in 2017.

Next week the local oval will be hosting the Ontario Little Saratoga’s Dresden Cup with a post time 1:30 p.m.
