Tickets on sale for Meadowlands Racetrack’s Craft Beer & Wine Festivals

East Rutherford, NJ — Two of Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment’s most popular events are returning for 2019. The fourth annual Spring Beer Festival is set for Saturday (May 18) and the third annual Summer Wine Festival is slated for Saturday (June 29).

For the May 18 craft beer fest, doors open for VIP at 4:30 p.m. with general admission at 5:30 p.m. and beer is poured until 9:30 p.m. The VIP ticket is $75 and includes an additional one hour of sampling, exclusive VIP Tent beer samplings, and food. General admission begins at 5:30 p.m. and is available in advance for $35 or at the door for $45.

More than 60 breweries and cideries are participating including a number of local New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York craft brewers. New Jersey favorites Lone Eagle Brewing, River Horse, 902 Brewing Company, Forgotten Boardwalk, Bolero Snort, Departed Soles, Angry Erik, Flying Fish, Iron Bound Cider and Melick’s Hard Cider will poured at the festival. Pennsylvania favorites including Weyerbacher, Neshaminy Creek, and Yards will also be featured. Original Sin, Bronx, Captain Lawrence and Ommegang are just a few New York based companies that will be available for tasting.

Other breweries and cideries featured at the festival include Breckenridge, Red Hook, Elysian Brewery, Golden Road, Virtue Cider, Goose Island, Devil’s Backbone, Kona, 10 Barrel Brewing, Terrapin, Oskar Blues, Left Hand, Sweetwater Brewing, Boulevard Brewing, Austin East Cider, Two Roads, and Dogfish Head.

Wine fest-goers on June 29 will experience an evening of great wines from around the world, live harness racing, music and food. More than 30 wineries are participating including ones from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, New Jersey, California, South Africa and Oregon. Festival goers will be sampling Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Champagne, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Prosecco, Rosè, Sangrias, Merlots, Cabernet and much more.
