Timeisonmyside wins fifth straight, takes Tom Kirwan Memorial

Washington, PA — Timeisonmyside drew away late and captured Saturday’s (April 27) $19,800 final of the Tom Kirwan Memorial Pace for 3-year-old colts and geldings — his fifth straight win overall — at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Timeisonmyside (Anthony MacDonald) was hammered down to 1-5, wasted little time showing that the odds were justified, powering Timeisonmyside to the point at the quarter. Senditin Jim (Hunter Myers) briefly challenged after moving three wide near the three-quarters, but Timeisonmyside put him in his rear-view mirror in the lane. The Captain Crunch-Macharoundtheclock gelding triumphed in a career-best 1:51.1, 3-3/4 lengths better than Senditin Jim. Cheyenne Tuff (Mike Wilder) completed the ticket.
