Nichols, NY — Tioga Downs has added Wednesday, July 4, to their live racing schedule with a post time of 6:50 p.m. (EDT).

It will also be “Trainer Appreciation Day” at the five-eighths-mile track. Each trainer that wins a race on the holiday card will receive $500 for each race won from Tioga Downs. The condition sheet will be filled with a few overnight races along with $15,000 3-year-old opens for each gait and sex.

Fireworks at the racetrack will follow the evening’s race card along with a barbeque party for all horsemen in the “Tioga Tent.”
