Nichols, NY — Tioga and Vernon Downs are announcing that the stable areas at both track will not be accepting horses on April 1 as previously scheduled. It is suggested that had you planned to ship to either track, continue to stable your horses where the are currently housed.

“We are uncertain when our properties will be able to reopen as a whole,” said Vice President of Racing for both properties, Jason Settlemoir. “We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates of when live racing will begin at each property. We are living in unprecedented times and the safety of our guests, employees, and horsemen remain our top priorities.”
