Nichols, NY — American Racing and Entertainment and Vigilante Films are proud to announce the release of the television show on Tioga Downs, Vernon Downs, and The Purple Haze Stable that will be featured on TVG.

The half hour show goes in depth on Tioga Downs including the annual Drivers’ Championship, with two time defending champ Yannick Gingras giving his feel on Tioga and the competition.

Howard Okusko, Jr. is featured as he is the trainer-driver for the Purple Haze Stable of New York, who is consistently picking out top New York bred horses to compete throughout the sire stakes. In 2008 the Purple Haze Stable and Howard Okusko, Jr. were proud to stable a New York Sire Stakes champion with She’s So Savvy, a 2-year-old trotting filly.

Also featured on the half hour television debut will be the historic seven-eighths-mile track of Vernon Downs. For years harness enthusiasts have packed Vernon Downs and watched such greats as Bret Hanover, Bunny Lake, and more recently My Little Dragon do battle in upstate New York.
