Nichols, NY — Horsemen are advised that the deadline for nominations to all Tioga Downs late closing events has been extended to Friday (April 15).

Both pacing series occur entirely before the New York Sire Stakes season begins, making for a convenient and lucrative trio of prep races through the month of May.

The trotting series coincide with the Empire Breeders Classic events at Vernon in June, enabling 3-year-old trotters to remain fit during the lull in Sire Stakes events.
