Nichols, NY — Tioga Downs will continue its tradition of honoring the defending Drivers’ Champion with a bobblehead at the Drivers’ Championship the following year.

In 2010 Tioga Downs will unveil the Jason Bartlett Bobblehead giveaway on Sunday, August 1, sponsored by Winbak Farm and Tioga Downs, which also marks the fourth edition of the Drivers’ Championship.

Bartlett took home bragging rights and the top prize of $25,000 after beating out the top seven moneywinning drivers in the sport, the top moneywinning driver at Tioga Downs, and one sponsor’s exemption.

“We are honored to roll out the Jason Bartlett bobblehead in honor of Jason’s Drivers’ Championship win last year. Bartlett is a rising superstar in our sport and we are proud to work with him on the bobblehead and give them away to fans at one of our marquee events of the year,” said Jason Settlemoir, VP of Racing and Simulcast.

The giveaway will begin at 12 p.m. on the trackside apron and Bartlett will be down there as well to sign some bobbleheads. The other eight drivers for the Driver’s Championship will also be on hand for a driver meet and greet, along with photos for an autograph session. Bobbleheads will be given out to the public while supplies last.
