Nichols, NY — New York’s premier harness racing championship saddles up to Tioga Downs Casino Resort in just a few short weeks. The event will take place on Sept. 10 with a special 1 p.m. start time, allowing horsemen and their families ample time to enjoy all the Finger Lakes region has to offer.

Horsemen from far and wide are invited to take part in the Sire Stakes Day of Champions, which brings together the best Standardbreds New York State has to offer. The matinee card will feature eight races for the best state-bred 2- and 3-year-olds, competing for purses of $200,000 each and over $1.6 million total.
