Nichols, NY — Tioga Downs will continue its tradition with a bobblehead giveaway on Drivers’ Championship Day, which takes place on Sunday, August 28.

In 2011 Tioga Downs and its bobblehead sponsor, Winbak Farms, will unveil the reproduction of the “Bionic Man” Tim Tetrick in coordination with the fifth edition of the Drivers’ Championship.

“We are honored to re-introduce the Tim Tetrick bobblehead on Drivers’ Championship day this year. Tetrick has participated in all four events and has been a big supporter of what we try to do here at Tioga and Vernon Downs,” said Jason Settlemoir, VP of Racing and Simulcast.

The giveaway will begin at 12 p.m. on the trackside apron and Tetrick will be down there as well to sign some bobbleheads.

The other eight drivers for the Drivers’ Championship will also be on hand for a driver meet and greet, along with photos for an autograph session. Bobbleheads will be given out to the public, one per person, while supplies last.
