Nichols, NY — Tioga Downs, located in Nichols, New York, and Vernon Downs, located in Vernon, New York, are looking to fill two regional positions.

Racing Marketing Manager
Summary: Responsible for coordinating and managing all marketing functions for racing at two properties, including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, promotions and press releases, within the established policies and procedures and controls of the company.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area from a four-year college or university, or four to six years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Qualifications: Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and excellent promotional and marketing skills, along with excellent writing skills.

Controller
Summary: Responsible for coordinating and managing all functions pertaining to General Ledger, Revenue, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Gaming Cage Operations in accordance with the established policies, procedures and controls of the company.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related area from a four-year college or university, or four to six years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or CPA preferred.

Special Qualifications: Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Five to seven years experience with Pari-Mutuel accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, expense analysis, cost benefit analysis and financial statement interpretation required. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate, with superior spreadsheet skills. Prior Racino experience preferred.
