Tioga welcomes NYSS 2-year-old pacing fillies on Sunday

Nichols, NY — Tioga Downs welcomes two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies on Sunday (Aug. 22).

Patsville (Mark MacDonald) is the 2-1 morning line favorite in the $53,100 first division. John Butenschoen trains the Huntsville-Major Master Piece filly. She has four wins in six lifetime starts.

The Eddie Dennis trained Joyride Hanover (Dexter Dunn) is the second choice. The daughter of American Ideal-JK Higher Power has two wins, including a NYSS win at Monticello.

Just Devine (Yannick Gingras) looks to be the one to beat in the $53,100 second division. Ron Burke trains the Huntsville-Divine Caroline miss. She has three NYSS wins, reaching the winner’s circle at Saratoga, Yonkers, and Monticello.

The Nifty Norman trained Gotthegreenlight (Dexter Dunn) looks to be her toughest competition. The daughter of American Ideal-Bet On Luck has four wins in five starts, including a NYSS victory at Yonkers.
