Tip Top Cat brings $330,000 at onGait.com on Monday

Boca Raton, FL — Tip Top Cat p,2,1:50.1s brought a winning bid of $330,000 from Mark Weaver on Monday afternoon (Oct. 3) at onGait.com.

The 2-year-old son of Always B Miki defeated Tickertape Hanover and Stockade Seelster in taking an elimination of the Metro Stake at Mohawk Park two weeks ago. He will enter the Ron Burke Stable after being sold by the partnership of Scott Horner and Timothy Murray.

Also on Monday, Captain Mccrae p,2,1:54f, a 2-year-old son of Huntsville, was sold by Ted Wier for $42,200 to Thomas Mucci and Baker Time 3,1:56.4f went to Dan Ross for $27,000. Owner/trainer Deb Swartz was the seller of the Long Tom 3-year-old.

Among the horses presently in the ring are Prancing Queen p,3,1:50.3f, a 3-year-old Downbytheseaside filly; Archery Seelster 2,1:56.1s, a 3-year-old son of Wheeling N Dealin who was just second in the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Final; and Bulldog Hanover‘s 2-year-old half sister Buttercup Hanover p,2,1:53.1s.
