Total Truth to stand at Fox Den Farm in Maryland

Union Bridge, MD — Fox Den Farm will add four new stallions to their roster for 2014.

In response to a renewed and enthusiastic interest in breeding in Maryland as a result of enhanced and expanded breeding programs in the state, Fox Den will stand a total of six stallions this year.

New for 2014 is Total Truth, winner of $2,022,433, with a record of p,1:48.3. This son of Jenna’s Beach Boy’s accomplishments include at 2, winner Smullin Memorial, Niatross, and elim. of the Kentucky Sire Stakes at Lexington. At 3, winner of North America Cup, Hoosier Cup, Progress Pace, Cane Pace, Burlington Pace and Matron Stake elimination. Total Truth was named 3-year-old Pacing Colt of the Year and Pacer of the Year in 2006.

In 2008, Total Truth was sold at Tattersalls for $900,000, a record for a male pacer.

Also new for 2014 is the trotter Charlie De Vie 3,1:53.2f ($272,918) by Yankee Glide a $90,000 yearling and winner of the Zweig Memorial and Simpson Stake.

Two additional pacing stallions are also added. Rusty’s For Real p,3,1:50f ($429,747) by Real Artist, a $90,000 yearling and winner of Max Hempt Memorial elimination and Rusty’s All In p,1:50f ($481,589) by Western Hanover, a $70,000 yearling with winnings of more than $100,000 at ages 3 and 6.

These four stallions will join the proven Maryland sires Allie’s Western and You Betcha at Fox Den.
