Touch Of White, Air Time repeat in DSBF prelims

Dover, DE — Touch Of White and Air Time scored repeat wins in their respective $20,000 second-round Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund events for sophomore trotting colts and geldings on Tuesday (Dec. 8) at Dover Downs.

In the first division, Touch Of White completed a sweep of his preliminaries with a front-end 1:57.4 score over Chauffeur and Riddle Me This. The Keystone Activator-Staminetta gelding campaigns for the Callahan family: Dolly Callahan owns him as Breakaway Racing; her husband, Nick, trains; and their sons Aaron and Corey were the winning breeder and driver, respectively.

The second split saw Air Time push clear early and coast to a 1:58.3 victory over Zulu and Rocky Bomber. Art Stafford Jr. drove the Jane Dunavant homebred son of Dusty Winner and I Concur for trainer Carlo Poliseno.

The top eight point earners from the series are eligible for the $100,000 DSBF final slated for next Thursday (Dec. 17). They are Air Time, Touch Of White, Zulu, Chauffeur, Rocky Bomber, Shiloh and Blazin Politics.
