Transparency wins Rosecroft feature

Ft. Washington, MD — The surface at Rosecroft is as good as it gets in harness racing. A lightning fast five-eighths-mile oval did not disappoint Thursday night (Nov. 3) as the two featured pacing events on the card produced terrific races.

Corey Braden and Transparency sat the pocket and beat a game, pacesetting Walden Woods in 1:50.4 to take the $15,000 3- and 4-year-old open. It was the sixth win of the season for the 4-year-old son of Artspeak, bred and owned by Tom Cooke and trained by Roger Hans.

In an upper level conditioned event for $12,500, Eric Davis and Jack Roger won for the second time in four starts, cutting the mile in 1:50.3. It was a new lifetime mark for the 8-year-old son of Rock N Roll Heaven, owned and trained by Katie Callahan.

Braden and Frank Milby each won three times, while Jason Thompson and Jonathan Roberts each won twice. Trainers Michael Hall, Roger Hans and John Wagner all had two wins.
