Sacramento, CA — Tricky Deal N, the little mare who changed so many lives, died Nov. 11, 2016, at the age of 26.

Sired by Tricky Dick N, out of the Lumber Dream mare Rainbow Dream, Tricky Deal N took a mark of 1:58.1f and earned $15,430. After her racing career she went to the breeding shed where she had five foals, all who made it to the races including Wastin Time p,1:55.2 ($179,948), a divisional sires stakes champion and Cordealia p,1:55.4 ($51,270), a multiple stakes winner.

After Tricky Deal N had her last foal she developed mastitis and was retired from the broodmare life.

Tricky Deal N was then given to Jeannie Womack and Tiffany Broun of Harmon Haven Therapeutic riding and horse rescue, where she showed her incredible talent as a therapy horse for special needs people.

A little mare with a love of people, Tricky Deal N helped many people with special needs and changed their lives forever.

One such case was a non-verbal autistic boy who after working and riding Tricky Deal N learned to say his only words “walk on.” Another notable achievement was when Skyla, Tiffany’s 5-year-old daughter, wanted to help raise money for the rescue center in a ride-a-thon, where she asked people to donate $2.02 for each ride where Tricky Deal N participated. Another case was when an elderly lady came to ride Tricky Deal N to help rehab after a stroke.

Little did anyone know when Tricky Deal N was exported to America how she would change the lives of so many people and special needs people one ride at a time. She passed away while sleeping under her favorite oak tree.
