Tripleplay Hanover makes it three straight

East Rutherford, NJ — Tripleplay Hanover ($7.00, $3.20, $2.20) made it three straight victories with a neck tally in the eighth race, the second of two $12,500 divisions of the White Ruffles Series on Tuesday night at the Meadowlands.

Midnight Art ($3.60, $2.60), the 8-5 favorite, rallied for second, and it was a length back to Four Starzzzz Ittt ($3.00) in third.

Tripleplay Hanover, driven by George Brennan and trained by Bruce Riegle, overcame a difficult first over trip. She could not clear to the lead on the backstretch as Mike Lachance, driving Four Starzzzz Ittt, controlled the pylons. As they dueled in the homestretch, Tripleplay Hanover shook free and picked up her second win in the three-week White Ruffles Series.

The $44,500 White Ruffles Final is on January 20.

Tripleplay Hanover, a four-year-old daughter of Artsplace, races for the Jeff Miller Stable of Haviland, Ohio and Dorothy Miller of Delphos, Ohio. She paced the mile in 1:543.

In the first division, carded as the sixth race, Kosher Dill ($9.20, $5.60, $4.60) overcame post 12 to win by a half-length over Carson Jane ($8.60, $4.00) in 1:571. Millenium Missle ($3.00) was third by a half length.

Kosher Dill, driven by David Miller, is trained by Richard Bailey, Jr. and owned and bred by Richard Bailey of Pittstown, New Jersey. The four-year-old by No Nukes is out of In A Pickle.
