Alex The Winner was sold for $400,000 at the Dubois sale in Deauville.

Alex The Winner has a record of 1:59 and earnings of $192,000. He is sired by Orlando Vici and out of Likely Jet, she by Defi d’Aunou.

Alex The Winner was owned and trained by Jean Etienne Dubois, who you may recall as the trainer/driver of the lightning fast Coktail Jet, who won the Prix d’Amerique and the Elitlopp and raced at The Meadowlands in the Nat Ray Trot in 1995, where he finished fourth.

The Dubois sale was held for the first time and horses belonging to legendary French horseman, 74-year-old Jean Pierre Dubois, his two sons, Jean Philippe and Jean Etienne, and his grandsons, Louis and Jean Baudron, were offered for sale.

A total of 122 trotters went through the ring and 69 were sold for an average price of $41,600.
