Freehold, NJ — Blue Porsche, who won last year’s Valley Victory in Canadian-record time, and Ice Machine, this year’s Dexter Cup champ, will meet in the first of three elimination races for the C$375,000 Goodtimes Stakes at Mohawk Racetrack.

A total of 22 3-year-old male trotters entered the event, which will hold its final on June 18. The top three finishers from each elim, plus a fourth-place finisher drawn by lot, will advance to the final.

Trained by Blair Burgess, Blue Porsche is 1-for-1 this year and has won six of 10 lifetime races. He has earned $414,808 for owners Robert Burgess, Karin Olsson Burgess and Blue Porsche Stable.

Ice Machine has won four of five starts this year for trainer Charlie Norris and owner Bob Key.

Last year’s Ontario Sire Stakes Super Final winner Daylon Magician is in the third elimination.
