Wilkes-Barre, PA — Two additional nights of live racing have been added to the 2014 racing schedule at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Friday, October 10 and Friday, October 17 have been added, both with the regular post time of 6:30 p.m.

Racing fans will enjoy great promotions on both nights! On October 10, it’s Pick Your Trifecta night. Fans can get their entry card between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Pacers Clubhouse lobby and pick three numbers. If the numbers come in straight, they will win a $50 live racing voucher; if boxed, they will get a $25 live racing voucher. Exclusions apply, and official rules can be found at the Racing Rewards desk.

Friday October 17 has been set as Fan Appreciation Night, thanking the great fans who have supported the track all season. Starting at 6:30 p.m., they can stop by the Lower Grandstand Bar and choose from a season souvenir, which vary from shirts; backpacks; glasses; and more. A Racing Rewards card is required, and the souvenirs are one per fan while supplies last.

The 2014 season continues until Saturday, November 22, with regular race nights of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Plans are in the works for the 2015 season, which will be the track’s 50th birthday.
