Pompano Beach, FL — Undefeated Whosgoinwhosstayin goes for his eighth straight win on Wednesday (September 17) at the Isle Pompano Park Harness Track in the Florida Sunshine State Stakes.

The 2-year-old gelded son of Basil is one of only two undefeated freshman trotters in North America with seven straight wins. The last two weeks Whosgoinwhosstayin has romped in his divisions of the Florida Sunshine State Stakes, winning by a total of 15 and three-quarter lengths.

“He just scares me how well he does,” said Whosgoinwhosstayin’s driver Mickey McNichol. “He just wants to trot away from the field the entire mile.”

Bred and co-owned by Sophia Valkanoff with trainer Linda Kakaley, Whosgoinwhosstayin faces the toughest challenge in his young career, going against recent winners J S Victory and Be Lachek.

While Whosgoinwhosstayin has beaten Be Lachek in both of their last meetings, Be Lachek did win his last start in the Series with a 2:03 triumph while J S Victory, who won his debut two weeks ago in 2:05.2 was a close second to Be Lachek last week.

There are a total of seven divisions of the Sunshine State Series fourth leg Wednesday. Some of the other standout horses include Pearl Of Capri, who after losing her first two starts has yet to again taste defeat, reeling off five straight wins for breeder/owners Frank and Inge Smith. The 2-year-old trotting filly by Famously starts from the rail in the second race for driver Dan Clements.

Baileysirishdream tries for her sixth straight win in a division for 3-year-old trotting fillies and Southern Rain also goes for his sixth straight win in a 3-year-old colt and gelding trot division.
