Amherst, OH — Ed Mullinax has brought Whosurboy, Upfront Hannahsboy and Up Front Charlie home from Canada to stand in Canton, Ohio, at Bill Mt.Pleasant’s farm.
Whosurboy, a proven stallion with a record of 1:49s and $1.6 million in earnings, has been standing in Canada and his oldest foals are now 4-year-olds.
Upfront Hannahsboy is a newcomer to the breeding industry. He took a record of 1:49.2f and had earnings of $331,829. He’s a son of Dragon Again and out of the Jenna’s Beach Boy mare She’s A Daisy. He will be looking to add his name to the list of outstanding stallions for Ohio.
Up Front Charlie has bred 44 mares (23 in 2008-09 in Maryland and 21 in 2011 in Ontario), but is a relative newcomer to stallion duty. He’s a Dragon Again out of Lovin Yankee by On The Road Again. He will toss his strong pedigree, record time of 1:50.1 and earnings of $341,888 to grab the attention of some mares.
All will stand for a service fee of $1,500 in 2012.
