Update on Badlands Hanover Rescue Program

by John Celii, the Badlands Hanover Syndicate manager

Chadds Ford, PA — Several members of the Badlands Hanover Syndicate announced an initiative to provide concerned owners/breeders several alternatives for unwanted 2012 foals or broodmares on Dec. 17, 2012.

The Badlands Hanover Rescue Program offer expired on Jan. 15, 2013.

I am happy to report that while many breeders are concerned with the uncertainty of the Ontario-based Standardbred program, none were interested in either selling or relinquishing their horses.

We want to thank all of you that responded with your comments and well wishes. More importantly, we are truly impressed with your commitment to harness racing and your respective horses. We wish you the very best in 2013 and beyond.
