Update on Cattlewash standing at Walnridge

Manalapan, NJ — The fastest pacer of 2020 and the world champion stakes winner of $824,777, Cattlewash will stand at Walnridge Farm in New Jersey for the 2021 breeding season.

By the great Somebeachsomewhere and the first foal from the Bettor’s Delight stakes winner Road Bet p,4,1:52f ($380,315), he equaled his sire’s world record of 1:46.4 winning his division of the Bluegrass Stake with a :26 last quarter. The 10-time winner at two and three concluded his 2020 campaign with a fifth in the $325,000 Progress Pace at Dover Downs on Nov. 25.

Cattlewash has been trained throughout his career by Ron Burke and he has competed with the very best colts of his generation. He will return to racing again in the 2021 racing season and will be bred to a limited number of 50 mares.

Cattlewash will stand at Walnridge Farm, in Cream Ridge, N.J., with the introductory stud fee of $7,500, and his foals will be eligible for nomination to the New Jersey stakes program.

He is the first son of Somebeachsomewhere to enter the stud in New Jersey.
