Columbus, OH — The 2022 updated version of the U.S. Trotting Association’s rule book is now available on the USTA website via this link and may also be downloaded as the USTA Rule Book App found on Apple iTunes and Google Play stores by searching “USTrotting.”

Printed copies of the book may be requested by contacting memberservices@ustrotting.com.

Following are highlights of the new rules in the updated 2022 Rule Book:

— Fair race results must be furnished to the USTA by midnight of the race day.
— A claim may be voided if a horse cannot walk off the track under its own power.
— The election of membership directors shall take place on the second Tuesday of December; candidate nominations must be filed by Oct. 1.
