USTA at The Black Book Sale

Columbus, OH — The USTA will be set up at The Black Book Sale at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex Nov. 6-10.

Representatives will be available to receive ownership transfers, membership renewals, Hoof Beats subscriptions and conduct any other USTA business. Acceptable forms of payment for these items, and any USTA paperwork submitted, is cash, check or credit card.

When purchasing a horse, look for the sale transfer form in your buyer’s packet. You can immediately turn it in at the USTA table and as soon as your payment clears the sales company, they will release the hold and the transfer will automatically complete. There is no need to wait for your payment to clear and papers be mailed to you after the sale; take advantage of this streamlined process so you don’t forget to transfer ownership later.

USTA ID Technicians are available at the sale to freeze brand or microchip any horses that currently have the other form of permanent identification. Stop by the USTA table to get your sale horse on the list to be done before being shipped off the grounds.

The National Racing Compact will be at the USTA booth Tuesday and Wednesday (Nov. 7-8) to assist individuals with fingerprinting and licensing. Click here for more information about the services available from the Compact onsite at the sale.
