USTA District 11 meeting held Friday

30 USTA members attended the meeting to discuss proposed rule changes.

Rehoboth Beach, DE — United States Trotting Association’s (USTA) District 11 held their annual meeting Friday evening at 1776 Steakhouse in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

There were 30 USTA members in attendance including Chairman Jim Boese and Directors Dr. William Moffett and Russell Mackinnon.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and vote on 18 proposed rule changes. All but four of the proposed rule changes gained the majority endorsement of the members in attendance. Only proposed rules 1, 2, 3 and 9 received a no vote. The fate of the new rules will be decided at the USTA’s national meeting in March of 2012.
