Columbus, OH — The United States Trotting Association directors from District 3 conducted their annual meeting on Sunday (Jan. 8) at the Hilton Arden West in Sacramento, Calif.

USTA President Ivan Axelrod addresses those in attendance for the annual District 3 on Sunday at the Hilton Arden West.

USTA President and District 3 Chairman Ivan Axelrod led the meeting and was joined by fellow directors Ben Kenney and Chris Schick, who provided a summary of Cal Expo’s 2016 initiatives and results.

USTA Executive Vice President Mike Tanner also was in attendance and helped provide context and clarification during the rule change proposal discussion.

The directors and members in attendance spent considerable time deliberating and voting upon 32 rule change proposals submitted by members, track officials and the USTA staff. Click here to see the rule change proposals in question.
