Columbus, OH — The annual meeting of USTA District 7 was held in Clarion, Pa., on Saturday, Jan. 15.

Barry Brown was re-elected track director for the District while Walter “Boots” Dunn was re-named Chairman of the District. Directors Sam Beegle and Dunn presided over the meeting which discussed rule change proposals and USTA activities.

Reports were also made by Roy Wilt (Chairman, PA Harness Racing Commission), Ron Battoni (PHHA), Kim Hankins (MSOA), Trish Adams (PA Fair Harness Horsemen’s Association) and Jerry Connors (PA Sire Stakes).

Approximately 140 people showed up at that evening’s banquet to honor the divisional honorees of the Pennsylvania fair circuit.
