USTA educational DVD available

from Harness Racing Communications, a division of the USTA

Freehold, NJ — The USTA is offering a free fan education DVD to any Standardbred-related group in the United States.

The DVD features segments on the history of harness racing, the difference between a trotter and pacer, how to wager, driving strategy and also the role of officials in racing. In addition, the DVD contains two versions of a 30-second commercial that can be edited to include graphics and voice over about a local event.

The DVD has already been sent to every pari-mutuel track in the U.S. and will be sent to any fair, matinee club, farm, or horsemen’s association that would find it useful. It can be used to educate staff at tracks or farms, shown on in-house television systems, at mall or equine expo displays, or to tour groups.

To obtain a copy of the DVD, contact Ellen Harvey at HRCNews@ustrotting.com or at (732) 780-3700.
