Columbus, OH — The USTA would like to notify the membership that Garry Phillips will be travelling from Eldon, Iowa to the southern states (Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana) beginning the week of Feb. 17 to provide microchipping and DNA services to USTA members.

If you would like to make separate arrangements for freeze branding, those must be made in advance and there will be an additional fee.

We strongly encourage you make an appointment now to avoid any last minute issues that will prevent you from transferring ownership or being able to race this spring and summer, as opportunities are limited.

The USTA would also like to remind you that if you plan on racing in 2021, all horses that race will need to be microchipped prior to going behind the gate.

As a reminder to all foal owners, you will not receive your registration papers until your foal has been parentage verified, so do not hesitate and schedule now.
