Valley Of Sin goes worst to first in Meadows top trot

Washington, PA— Last into the final turn, Valley Of Sin roared wide through the lane tocapture Wednesday’s (Dec. 7) $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Not only did ValleyOf Sin trail late, but he also had excess cover that guaranteed him a widejourney in the stretch. When trainer/driver Wilbur Yoder angled him to themiddle of the track, the 6-year-old Yankee Glide-Anklet Hanover ridgling blazedby them all to score in 1:56.1. The pocket-sitting Classicality shot theLightning Lane for second, a neck back, while Explosive Leggs earned show.

John Ducharmecampaigns Valley Of Sin, who won for the third time in his last four starts andextended his career bankroll to $247,899.

Dave Palone,Dan Rawlings and Mike Wilder each collected three wins on the 14-race card.
