Harrington, DE — Breakaway Racing’s Valuable Art ($52.40, Jon Roberts in the bike) was a 1:54 winner in the $16,000 Mares Open on Tuesday (June 26) at Harrington Raceway.

Shesarocker set the fractions throughout as the 9-2 third choice but tired in the stretch and finished fifth after pressure from Valuable Art, who held off Empress Deo by a head with 1-2 Apple Bottom Jeans another head back.

Trained by Nick Callahan, the 5-year-old Art Official mare registered her fourth win of the year.

Valuable Art was very competitive in the Burning Point series at the Meadowlands, where she had a win and two second-place finishes before a trio of starts in Pennsylvania.
