Vernon, NY — In anticipation of locally stabled 2-year-olds qualifying before embarking on their new careers, the Vernon Downs race office advises horsemen that qualifiers on the next two Friday mornings (June 19 and June 26) will begin at 9:30 a.m., one hour before the usual starting time.

The following week’s qualifiers will see a return to a 10:30 a.m. starting time, but will be conducted on Thursday (July 2) due to the Sara Evans concert taking place on Friday (July 3).

Entries for qualifiers will be accepted until 10 a.m. on the day preceding each session.
