In a tribute to one of the top drivers in the sport, Vernon Downs, along with sponsor Winbak Farm, is excited to announce the Brian Sears bobblehead giveaway, on Friday August 15. The first 650 racing fans through the door at the Miracle Mile will receive the coveted Sears bobble head in a full color box and autographed by Brian in person that evening.

“I thought this was a no brainer so I asked Brian in the early spring what he thought and he agreed to let us do the bobble head at Vernon Downs, Brian grew up in the Vernon area and got his start at Vernon Downs as well, so it just made perfect sense”, said Jason Settlemoir, VP of Racing and Simulcast. Sears has won 6,418 races to date and has won more than $80,000,000 in career earnings and is one of the top drivers the sport has ever had to offer. The bobble head giveaway will begin at 5:30 p.m. (EDT) while supplies last.

The action will just begin with the bobble head giveaway, as the heat will be turned up on the track as well with the $120,000 final of the Artiscape and the $125,000 Conway Hall final. Post time is 6:55 p.m. (EDT).
