VIP Stable auction to benefit Lebanon Relief Fund

from VIP Internet Stable

VIP Internet Stable has announced an auction of several partnership shares to benefit the Lebanon Horsemen’s Disaster Relief Fund. All proceeds from this online auction will go to the Relief Fund.

“One of our partners suggested we sell a few of his holdings and give the proceeds to the Lebanon Relief Fund, and we thought it was a great idea,” said VIP Stable’s Tom Janes. “We decided to add shares VIP owns in a few racehorses and yearlings to help out the horsemen at Lebanon who are really suffering because of the barn fire.”

“This is not only an opportunity to help out a very worthy cause, but the chance to own a stake in a few nice horses,” added VIP’s Ed O’Connor. “The auction has a little bit of everything — a few racehorses, several yearlings, weanlings, and even a few broodmares.”

These Partnership Shares will go to the highest bidder, and this generous person will become part of VIP Stable’s Syndication partnership for that horse. The auction is on VIP Stable’s Web site at http://www.vipstable.com/auction12.html and will run through December 20 at 9 p.m.

VIP Internet Stable is one of the leading harness racing partnerships in the U.S., with over 500 victories at tracks all over the U.S. and purses of over $5.7 million. VIP was established in 1999 by Ed O’Connor and is jointly managed by O’Connor and Tom Janes. Among VIP’s best known horses are stakes winners Dali, River Shark, Naughty Indeed, Lofty Widget, Fox Valley Tribal and True Force.
