Top Italian trotter, Vivid Wise As, trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro and driven by Matthieu Abrivard won the prestigious Grand Prix du Département des Alpes-Maritime at Cagnes Sur Mer with a purse for the winner of 67.500 Euros  – or $80,000 for the third time in a row.

Vivid Wise As is now undefeated in five races at Cagnes Sur Mer.  He also has won the other big international race at that track, the Criterium de Vitesse de la Cote d’Azur twice.

Vivid Wise As took command after the first quarter and stayed on to win in a hand drive for Abrivard in 1.51,4 two lengths ahead of Drole de Jet with Pierre Vercruysse.
