Freehold, NJ — Waco Hanover, a 40-year-old son of Tar Heel living out his life in the Green Mountains of Vermont, was the subject of a story on Senator Bill Bradley’s American Voices radio show on Sirius XM last weekend.

His caretaker, Donnie MacAdams, explains how he came to know Waco when his owner, Everett Kettler, moved away from the farm where Waco has lived for decades, but kept it, solely for the horse’s peace and comfort. The interview begins at 1:55 and wraps up at 10:40.
