Toronto, ON — Chair Rod Seiling announced that the Government of Ontario has reappointed Brenda Walker of Owen Sound, Ontario, as a Commissioner for a three year term, effective Feb. 2, 2011.

Mrs. Walker was first named to the Board of the Ontario Racing Commission in 2003.

“Brenda has considerable experience in racing and an in-depth understanding of the industry,” said Seiling. “She knows first-hand the challenges of working in horse racing. Most importantly, she has a notable record of service as a Commissioner, and over the years has served the racing community in many ways. These are great assets to the ORC and I look forward to her continued efforts to share her knowledge of the industry.”
