Solvala, SE — At the annual Elit-sale, held Friday night (May 27) before the prestigious Elitlopp, the filly, Scarfo Pellini sired by Walner was sold for 1,800,000 SEK – or $183,000, which is a new record for the sale.

The dam of Scarfo Pellini is the Swedish mare, Jullan (sired by Juliano Star) 1.57.2f – 1,500,000 SEK in earnings.

The most expensive colt was Ironic Man, sired by Readly Express, who sold for 1,525,000 SEK – or $155,000.

Ironic Man equaled the previous record price at the Elit-sale.
