Westfield, IN — Walsh Products, the industry leader in harness manufacturing, and Big Dee’s Tack & Vet Supply, one of the top retailers in the sport, are teaming up to support the Harness Horse Youth Foundation.

Walsh and Big Dee’s will each donate $5, a total of $10, for each complete set of harness sold between now and the end of the year. The donation applies regardless of the number of complete harnesses purchased and includes the upcoming venues of the Standardbred Horse Sale in Pennsylvania and the Blooded Horse Sale in Ohio. Purchasers do not need to take any action; the two companies will handle the details.

Paul Treiber, president and owner of Walsh Products and the organizer of this generous effort, explains, “I feel it is very important to support the Harness Horse Youth Foundation and their programs which introduce young people to racing. The future of our business lies in the young people today and it gives me great pride to support this valuable organization.”

Celebrating 40 years of youth education and service to harness racing, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses, in order to foster the next generation of participants and fans. The Foundation makes a difference in young people’s lives through interactive learning experiences with these versatile animals, scholarship programs, and creation and distribution of educational materials.
